Harris has been telling a good deal of truth pretty plainly in Klverslde pulpit 8lnee the new building La been opened. Last Sunday he spoke on advertising the church, and tune down pretty heavi ly upon those whose advertising did not do the church justice. He prefaced bl sermon with a few remarks about the agitatlou con cerning the ad vertislus of Hood Klver apples, saying that it was our busi ness to raise the best of apple and turn the attention of the people to them. The method of Secretary Scott of the Commercial Club was outlined and endorsed. Likewise, he said it was the busi ness of the church to do o vital work and challenge the attention of men; have a message anil tell It. The newspaper was recommended a the quickest way to reach t lie largest number and the co-operation of the Hood Klver paper was grate fully acknowledged. The special method of advertising the church were presented a follows; 1 Personal work. Peal direct with the people the surest and best method. 2. Faithful attendance at services.
