Commodore o. c. u-in, who is in
charge of the Hood Klver-White
Salmon ferry line of boats, has taken
the larger boat off the Hood Klver
run and has placed It In commis
sion off Newport to engage In the
halibut fishing Industry. Mr. Dean
states that he has located the hali
but beds and that on a single trip
the boat brought In nearly two tons
of llsh. The Commodore will spend
a large portion of his time at New
port during the halibut lishlng season.
