usual conditions, when producers
may well -resort to the 'by-product-policy'
of some of the manufacturing
Institutions, by saving everything.
In this connection a prominent dried
fruit man of St. Louis has leen re
ported recently as saaylnt;:
The present condition of the
drle fruit market merits special at
tention. The oldest merchants In
this line do not remember such a
complete clean up of the old stock In
twenty years. lUnb prices are al
most sure to rule this season.
"It will pay farmers and growers
to look carefully after every apple
and peach they raise. Even wind
fulls and gnarly ones should be dried
either as chopped apples, cut In slices
with peeling on or peeled and cut In
rings
'".Apples and peaches are certainly
too valuable to feed hogs or to be al
lowed to rot on the ground. Kven
apple peelings and cores will brfng
good prices, as they are used by
manufacturers.' "

You missed a treat Sunday evening

sung most beautifully.
There's some classy pennant up for
the class that puts up the liest pro
gram the next three Sundays at
Sunday School. The Loyal sons
don their happy togs next Sunday to
come out and cop the rag.
I believe the teacher of the Live
Wires dispensed with morning ser
vice Sunday so as to give the time
to the class. There were only about
a half dozen present but they chewed
the rag, argued and called each other
names for two hours and a half.
Mr. Wilbur spoke Sunday evening
on the history of the church. Start
Ing with the time of the early papal
sovereignty he traced It down
through the successive stages to the
present state of deterioration and de.

timers are becoming Incensed at the

ter condemnation suit has been flxci
