W Copper, for this was the day when two happy hearts were united in holv wedlm'k. Promptly at the f! o'clock hour the piano, executed by Miss Cora McOints-r, sounded the "Christmas Bells," and two happy young people marched to the altar of matrimony, where Pastor K. Me Omber pronounced the mystic words which lawfully made Mark P. Mills and II. Alma Copper husband and wife. Helen Walton Kny, nged three years and four months, died Satur day morning at St. Vincents hos pital, Portland, following an opera tion that had been performed to remove the cause of a , serious ear trouble. Little Helen was the daughter of Murray Kay am) Helen Walton Kay, her mother dying a few days after she was born. In addition to her father ami stepmother Mrs. Kdna Kay, she Is survived by her sister Suaanne Kay, her grandmother Mrs. K S. Walton and her uncle and aunt, W. H. Walton and Miss Amle Walton. The body was brought to Hood River Saturday nnd funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. Mark's P.plscopal church. Rev. L T. Simpson officiating. The pall bearers were ('has. N.
