THEATRICAL TRUST INVADES SEATTLE The theatrical trust has ofliclally Invaded Seattle, and that city Is to have a new theatre, described by Marc Klaw, of Klaw & Krlang.ir, as the tiuest In the west. The senior partner of the big theat rical combination was In Seattle last week making a deal for the im mediate erection of the big new theatre, which will stand on the old I'nlverslty of Washington grounds, and will be known as the Metropoli tan Theatre. John Port, the local theatrical magnate, has a strong line of Independent attractions booked for this season, and will have things more or less his own way until the new Klaw & F.rlaugcr show house Is built. After that the big tight will be on. and the Northwest will see the best line of dramatic attractfons it Ii.ih ever had. The Klaw & F.rlaugcr forces will either buy, build or con trol houses all over the Northwest, and the independents will try to do the same.
