their new quarters In the Otten block
Thursday and are now prepared to
serve patrons In their changed loca
tion.
The store Is much larger than their
former place of business and Includes
two large display windows. The
apartment Is divided In the center
with counters and shelves. Dry
goods and ladles' wear are on one
side and shoes and men's wear on
the other. A new Idea for handling
ladles' coats and cloaks Is shown In
Beveral closets which are easy of ac
cess but keep the stock out of the
dust and frotn lelug handled by
paHxliig hands. The store Is broad
and deep with a good lighting ar
rangement and permits the arrange
ment ol a much larger stock.
I'nderneath there Is a full basement
for storing surplus stock and for
keeping rough lines of goods. The
store will be ready for Its formal
opening Saturday.

The White Salmon Enterprise,
which apparently has Inside Infor
mation, states that notwithstanding
that the Fruit Growers' Tuiou of
Hood Itlver sold its entire crop of
4l0 car loads of apples at a good
price to New York parties, Mosier
teat them out a little by getting
twenty-Bve cents more per box for
Its crop.
