Excavation was begun last week
on the Hellbronner block. The
work of constructing the building
will be hustled along and it Is ex
pected to have the building com

Burnette Duncan returtied Monday
from a several days' trip through
the Willamette valley as far as Rose-
burg. While there he vlHlted the
project lielng exploited at Sutherlin
and says that things are being done
there on a Inrge scale. The promot
ers of the project own the hotel and

rounding country and are attracting
many buyers. Mrs. Duncan Is spend
