Judd Fish, Booster
Jolly Judd Fish Is now the chief
booster, the otllclnl promoter, for
the Business Men's Association of
this city, and we congratulate the
association as well as the citizens
upon the selection, for certainly In
nil Oregon there Is no man better
fitted for the place than our old
friend J mid. of the winning smile,
the cherry word and the glad hand.
We do not know how Judd came
to take the position. It was surely
not for the money lu It, for the asso
ciation cannot pay him within ten
thousand dollars a year what his
services are worth. We surmise that
It Is not n matter of dollars and
cents with Judd, but a question of
loyalty to his city. However It
may be we are mighty glnd Judd Is
at the helm, and his engagement will
mean much, very much for the good
of The Dalles Optimist.
