Sweet Songs Popular The "Sweet Song Campaign" un der the direction of I'rof. Stout at the Methodist church has already proved a great success. During the past week many souls have beeu born Into the kingdom und given their Influence and lives to the church I'rof. Stout's gospel looses nothing of Its penetrating power, but rather Is augmented In force, while It Is pre sented In so sweet a manner as to steal Into our hearts as a welcomed old time friend comes to our home to abide there. Last Sunday morning the services in the Sunday school and church were most Impressive. They were not only Instrumental In bringing n-.'wly born souls to Christ, but iu bringing many souls to a consecra tion for service not known before. The Sunday evening crowds could scarcely be accomodated In the church nnd large nuilitorium addi tion and thin service wnn most Im pressive and fruitful. I'hls campaign Is not primarily one for any church, but a campaign for souls and this has been recognized by all the churches voluntarily giv ing up their services both morning and evening for the next two Sun d:iy to join In thin great movement. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurs day evenings of this week Kev. C. L. Hamilton of Portland, one of the moat successful evangelists will as sist in the meetings. The meetings begin nt 7:4T each evening except Sat urday.
