a delightful social hour at the dinner
provided by the ladles, Judge John
Leland Henderson of Hood Ulver
gave a strong address ou "The Com
mercial Club, its Inception, purpose
and management." He was follow
ed by Hev. Hershner, also of Hood
Itlver, In an optimistic talk on the
future of the apple Industry In this
section.
The secretary then read a numer
ous poem written by Mr. Bobbins, a
member of the club.
At the business meeting followlug,
officers were elected for the ensuing
year. President, Dan Ewlng; Vice
