holds auditions for
‘Scrooge: Th e Musical’
CANNON BEACH – Coaster
Theatre Playhouse will host audi-
tions for “Scrooge: The Musical”
on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The musical production,
directed by Cathey Ryan, is an
adaptation of the Charles Dick-
ens classic “A Christmas Carol.”
Auditions for children under 12
will be held at 5:30 p.m., fol-
lowed by adult auditions at
6:30 p.m. Both singing and
non-singing roles are available for
actors of all ages.
Rehearsals will begin in late
September. The show will open
on Nov. 18 and run through Dec.
18. Proof of COVID-19 vaccina-
tion is required to audition. For

Draw fall foliage in
Hoff man Center workshop
MANZANITA – Artist Dorota
Haber-Lehigh will lead a workshop on
drawing fall foliage at Hoff man Center
for the Arts from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The botanical drawing class will con-
sist of presentations, demonstrations and
group drawings, held remotely. Its focus
will be on the changing colors and pat-
terns of the fall season, working with
plant samples and images.
