BROWNSMEAD – The Browns-
mead Grange will host a Seafood and
Crawfi sh Boil from 5 to 7 p.m. on
Saturday.
Local chefs will serve crawfi sh pre-
pared in two ways: sweet Browns-
mead style and spicy Louisiana style.
Lemonade and coff ee will be served;
beer and wine will be available for
purchase.
Cost for the event is $30 for adults
and $10 for children under 12. For more

4-H summer camp to be
held at Coff enbury Lake
Hell’s Belles to perform
at Liberty Th eatre
ASTORIA – Rock group Hell’s
Belles will perform at the Liberty The-
atre at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Presenting a selection of AC/DC
cover tunes, this group of women seek
to empower rock fans and create a cul-
ture of inclusion while performing.
Admission for the show is $25 in
advance, or $35 on the day of the show.

WARRENTON – A 4-H summer
camp for students 10 to 12 will be held
at Coff enbury Lake from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Campers will have the opportunity
to learn about the outdoors, including
wildfi res, trees and fi sh, at Fort Stevens
State Park.
Cost for the program is $10. Snacks

Angora Hiking Club
leads journey at
Oswald West State Park
ARCH CAPE – Angora Hiking
Club will lead a group hike from Arch
Cape to Short Sand Beach at 8 a.m. on
Wednesday.
Hikers will meet at the Short Sand
Beach parking lot within Oswald West
State Park. Craig Holt will lead the
group along this stretch of the Oregon
Coast Trail, where hikers will explore
Cape Falcon and spend a half hour on
Short Sand Beach.
Angora Hiking Club member dues
are $10 annually, though participants
need not be club members to join
this hike. For more information and

Coaster Th eatre hosts
summer camp for
young performers
CANNON BEACH – Coaster The-
atre Playhouse will off er a summer
camp aimed at performers between
8 and 12 years old beginning on
Monday.
Camp attendees will focus on act-
ing, singing and dancing while contrib-
uting to an original theater production.
This year’s camp theme is “Back to
Broadway” and will focus on character
development by young performers.
The camp will culminate in a pair of
performances, set for 4:30 and 7 p.m.
