SEAVIEW, Wash. – The Water
Music Society will host the Long
Beach Peninsula Garden Tour, with a
theme of “Music in the Gardens,” from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Featuring a variety of coastal gar-
dens on the peninsula, the event will
be accompanied by live music from
Terry Robb, George Coleman, Brian
O’Connor, Fred Carter, Tanz and Sea
Strings. Some gardens will also offer
refreshments.
Admission for the tour is $20. Tick-
ets are available online as well as at
The Basket Case Greenhouse, Bay Ave-
nue Gallery and Nansen Florals. Pro-
ceeds will support the Water Music
Society, which supports music educa-
tion in local schools.

NASELLE, Wash. – Knappton Cove
Heritage Center will present a living history
workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Satur-
day and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
During these events, members of the
Pacifi c Northwest Living Historians will
demonstrate skills used by the Lewis and
Clark Expedition, including carving, fi re
starting and leather clothing construction.
The Heritage Center will also host a lem-
onade social from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday,
off ering visitors a chance to learn about
upcoming projects.

Angora Hiking Club plans potluck
and hike at Coff enbury Lake
ASTORIA – Angora Hiking
Club will host a potluck and hike
at Coff enbury Lake at 9 a.m. on
Saturday.
Celebrating the return of warmer
weather, the potluck will be held by
the lake at Fort Stevens State Park.
Angora Hiking Club member
dues are $10 annually, though par-
ticipants do not need to be club
members. Additional park fees
