Angi D Wildt. Local artist Christine Kende
will also host a showing and discussion
of impressionistic techniques and abstract
fused glass art from 4 to 7 p.m.

Climb the stairs of a historic building
to find colorful original paintings, cards,
unique journals, decorative pillows, images
and prints from artist Connie Dillon.
Ashriver Woodworks, 229 14th St.
This family business specializes in
epoxy furniture and home decor as well as
reclaimed furniture built to last. The shop
will also host live music and refreshments.
Astoria Art Loft, 106 3rd St.
Featuring the theme “Beloved Pets and
Other Critters,” with photos, paintings and
drawings of beloved pets.
Astoria Visual Arts, 1000 Duane St.
Celebrating Pride month with interdis-
ciplinary artists Fritha Strand and Leif J
Lee. Strand explores the visual linguistics
of landscape, including sky, land and water,
while Lee practices drawing the unseen on
paper and fabric to question heteronorma-
tive ideas of perception.
Bridge and Tunnel Bottleshop & Tap-
room, 1390 Duane St.
Featuring the work of Astoria photogra-
pher Rob Preston, whose interest lies in the
behavior of light and the perspectives found
through the camera lens.
Brumfield Gallery, 1033 Marine Drive
Showing the “Duality” series from art-
ist Emily McPhie, whose oil paintings often
feature women and children.

Featuring watercolor art from Carrie
Harper, whose works are inspired by Alas-
kan auroras and natural beauty.
Cambium Gallery, 1030 Duane St.
Inviting the community to the opening of
“skin, color, space” by Julio Aleman. This
personal show explores ideas of skin and
identity with color interactions that push
and pull. The gallery will also celebrate

This shop and market will feature the
work of local artist Carrie Williams.
Foragers, 1004 Marine Drive
Hosting a Queer Makers’ Market, fea-
turing nearly a dozen artisans and makers
alongside DJ selections and live music.
Forsythea, 1124 Commercial St.
Featuring beaded mosaics and drawings
from artist Zemula Fleming, with a focus on
the Medieval and Byzantine. Fleming will
be on site from 4 to 6 p.m.
Imogen, 240 11th St.
Featuring “Enclosed Worlds(s),” a new
collection of painting and sculpture from
artists Jill Mayberg and Kim Murton. May-
berg’s abstract paintings playfully explore
pattern, shape and color, while Murton’s
terra cotta sculpture focuses on whimsical
plant life imagery.

Featuring new paintings in the gallery’s
“100 Faces” series.
