Held at the landing’s ethno- botanical garden, the session will include park restoration, native plant education and dis- cussions about gardening. LONG BEACH, Wash. – Willapa National Wildlife Refuge has planned a series of trail maintenance and visitor facility improvements throughout summer and fall. The Art Trail and Cutthroat Climb Trail will remain closed for the season to allow critical repairs, as will some parking access and public restrooms. Access to the refuge headquarters will be restricted through mid-August. The refuge’s boat launch and parking area will remain open, so that visitors will be able to access Long Island. The exhibit focuses on physical and emo- tional boundaries, including a look at top- ics of migration, gender and culture. Gomez’s mixed media artwork focuses on ethics and social engagement.
