be held at the Knappa Fire Sta-
tion, 43114 Hillcrest Loop,
Knappa, Oregon. The meeting
will take place on the 17th day of
May, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The pur-
pose of the meeting is to receive
the budget message and to re-
ceive comment from the public on
the budget. A copy of the budget
document may be inspected or
obtained on or after May 16th,
2022 at the Knappa Fire Station
between the hours of 10:00am

Bids will be publicly opened and read by the Public Works Director at
2:00 PM, local time on May 19, 2022 in the Astoria City Council
Chambers. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, a
cashier’s check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5%
of the total bid.
If the total bid exceeds $50,000.00 the contract will be subject to Pre-
vailing Wage Statute ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. The contract is
NOT subject to federal prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon
Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq).
Prequalification of bidders is required. Forms may be obtained from
the Engineering Division Office, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria, OR
97103, (503) 338-5173. Prequalification applications must be re-
ceived at the above location no less than seven (7) calendar days
