scaped open area requirement from 10% to 9% of lot area at

The City of Astoria’s Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a pub-
lic hearing on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in the Astoria City
Hall, Council Chambers, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria. The purpose of
the hearing is to consider the following requests:

Exterior Alteration Request (EX22-02) by Randy Stemper, on
behalf of Cecil’s Pier LLC, to replace three wood garage doors with
aluminum full-view glass panel doors on the north elevation at 1162
Marine Dr. (Map T8N R9W Section 8CA, Tax Lot 1600, Lots 9, 10, in-
cluding South .25 ac footing of the Rail Road Right-of-Way, Block 56
½, McClures) in the C-4 (Central Commercial) and Urban Core Over-
lay Zones. The site is designated as historic in the Downtown National
Register Historic District. Development Code Sections 2.425 to 2.445
(C-4), Articles 6 and 9, and Comprehensive Plan Sections CP.005 to
CP.028 (General Provisions), CP.050 to CP.055 (Downtown Area),
CP.240 to CP.255 (Historic Preservation), are applicable to this re-
quest.

locate one window and add another window on the 2nd floor north
elevation and alter the appearance of two windows by applying pri-
vacy film on the east elevation at 714 Harrison (Map T8N R9W Sec

(Medium Density Residential) Zone. The site is designated as historic
in the Hobson-Flavel Historic Inventory Area. Development Code
