The Wildlife Center of the
North Coast (WCNC) in As-
toria, Oregon is seeking a
full-time Seasonal Wildlife
Rehabilitation
Technician.
This position is responsible
for the supervision of WCNC’s
daily animal care, and per-
forms a variety of animal
health care duties including,
but not limited to, administer-
ing medications, overseeing
diet prep, and answering the
hotline. WCNC takes in most
native wildlife species includ-
ing raptors, waterfowl, pas-
serines, some mammals, and
we specialize in pelagic avian
species. Wildlife rehabilitation
experience and avian han-
dling skills preferred. This po-
sition is temporary, beginning
in early June and ending in
late September. Rate is $15
