Variegata plants hosts ribbon cutting ceremony ASTORIA – Variegata Exotic Plants, a new destination for classic and unique houseplants, will celebrate its grand open- ing with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at 1 p.m. The shop will host a giveaway of a philodendron silver sword plant during the ceremony at 2 p.m. The winner must be present at the time of the giveaway.
