The 10 week paid program features outdoor
experience and learning opportunities in natural
resource conservation, interpretive programs,
trail maintenance and administration, including
lead and crew positions.
Its mission is to help youth develop an
appreciation for the nation’s national parks
while acquiring leadership skills, workplace
ethics and a deeper understanding of conserva-
tion issues.
Corps members will also participate in camp-
ing and other recreational activities, as well as
learn about career paths in the National Park
Service and other land management agencies.
Participants from all backgrounds are
encouraged to apply. No previous wilderness
experience is required.
