Common Ground Interspiritual
Fellowship holds a service from

Grace Episcopal Church
Grace Episcopal Church, 1545
Franklin Ave., holds Sunday ser-
vices at 8 and 10 a.m. The later ser-
vice is also livestreamed on Face-
book and YouTube.
Morning prayer services are
daily at 8 a.m., and an evening
prayer service is at 7 p.m. Wednes-
days, also livestreamed. Masks are
required, as is social distancing,
and air machines are in use.
On Wednesday, Ash Wednesday,
there are two services, at noon and
7 p.m., both with the Holy Eucha-
rist and Imposition of Ashes. Ashes
are also available at curbside.
On Fridays in Lent, a Sacred
Space meditation takes place from
noon to 1 p.m., with contemplative
music and optional, self-guided
Stations of the Cross walk, start-
ing March 4, and running through
April 15. Diff erent musicians are
featured, the fi rst being Ray Utter-
back, playing the organ and piano.
The food pantry is open from
9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and
Thursday.

Volunteers needed for brush clearing
The Astorian
WARRENTON — The Clat-
sop County Master Garden-
ers Association is hosting two
work days to clear Scotch broom
at Ocean View Cemetery, 575
S.W. 18th St.: Thursday from
1 to 4 p.m., and Saturday from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There is ample parking, and
the ground is level and not dif-
fi cult for walking. The Scotch
broom is to be cut at the ground
and dropped there. No power
tools are allowed. The city will
provide liability forms to sign at
the cemetery.
It is suggested that partici-
pants bring a mask, but social
distancing should be reasonably
easy to maintain outdoors. Also,
volunteers should dress for the
weather, wear sensible shoes
and bring sturdy garden clippers.
Snacks will be provided.
