ASTORIA – The February Astoria Art
Walk will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on
Saturday.

Twenty-one artists will feature works
in the mediums of oil and acrylic painting,
woodcut, photography, mosaic, bronze, and
marble sculpture, hand blown glass, pottery,
fused glass, jewelry, and mixed media. The
works are representational, impressionistic,
abstract, romantic, realistic, contemporary,
and traditional. Currently, there are a few
vintage pieces available through the gallery.

Astoria Visual Arts welcomes artists
from throughout the Pacifi c Northwest
to exhibit work featuring the nude fi gure.
Curator Carrie Mariko Williams brings a
new vision to this exhibit, “Innocence, in a
Sense,” which honors the important role the
nude fi gure has played in art for centuries.

Seth Howard, Magician and owner of
Astoria Magic Shop will perform, “Mind
Mysteries,” an interactive show exploring
mysteries of the mind. Show at 6:30 p.m.,

Brumfi eld Gallery, 1033 Marine Dr.
“Indoors” is an exhibition of paint-
ings by Mark Andres, best known in Asto-
ria for his landscapes and images of the
river. During the past two years, however,
much of his time has been spent indoors.
The resulting body of work features fi gures
in interiors, the world kept at bay by closed
drapes, the security of a quilt and seduc-
tive lighting. Listen to Mark’s presenta-
tion about his work on Sunday, Feb. 27 at
11 a.m.

Featuring Astoria local Tracy Phinney
of TLG Photography, who showcases the
beauty of Astoria and the North Coast.

Featuring a soft preview of the gal-
lery’s new coff ee bar, Coff ee at Cambium,
join artists Leah Kohlenberg, Kirista Trask,
Audrey Long, Tamee Harden and Jolene
Randall for new works and a taste of what’s
to come. Open from 12-8 p.m.
Cargo Astoria, 241 11th St.
Shop handmade goods, featuring the
coastal imagery and goods of outdoor pho-
tographer Kim Rose Adams. On display
will be her handmade sea spray coasters
and cards along with custom gift bags of
bath salts made with Oregon ingredients.
