Over thousands of years, people have invented games to play using a ball. When people discovered a net could add something new to a game, more games were invented. Great Ocean In the late 1800s, a man named William Morgan lived in Springfield, Mass. He and his friend James Naismith liked to play games. Da Yang Seafoods LTD. In the winter of 1891, Naismith was the director of the YMCA in Springfield. It was too cold to ______________ outdoors. Using creativity, Morgan studied the rules of baseball, basketball, handball and badminton.
