of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on
Wednesday, December 8, 2021, to consider the following:
Ordinance #21-05, amending Section 1.0500, 2.9000 and 3.9500-
3.9800 of the Clatsop County Land and Water Development and
Use Code as follows:
•
update referenced ORS language and requirements
•
eliminate or update outdated methodologies and practices
•
update code citations and terminology
•
codify existing practices
•
revise the minimum-required standards for roadway con-
struction, in some cases increasing the required travel width
All interested parties are invited to testify in person by attending
the hearing or in writing by addressing comments to the Clatsop
County Board of Commissioners Chair, 800 Exchange Street,
Suite 410, Astoria, OR 97103. Written comments may also be sent
via FAX to 503-325-8325 or via email to commissioners@co.
clatsop.or.us. Testimony will be accepted at the hearing up to the
point when the Chair closes the public comment portion.

sop County Planning Division at 800 Exchange Street, Suite 100,
during normal business hours (M-F, 7:30-4) at no cost, and copies
may be obtained at reasonable cost. A copy of the ordinance will
be available for inspection at the Planning Division at no cost at
least seven days prior to the hearing and copies may be obtained
at a reasonable cost. The ordinance will also be posted on the
Planning Division’s website: https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/landuse.
