    Coaster Th eatre Cannon Beach hosts 34th
hosts musical duo Stormy Weather Arts Festival
CANNON BEACH —
The Coaster Theatre Play-
house welcomes the soulful
sounds of Adams & Costello
at 7:30 p.m. Saturday as part
of the Stormy Weather Arts
Festival weekend.
Tickets are $20 and can be
purchased at the theater box
offi ce, or online at coaster-
theatre.com. Space is limited
and seats will be socially dis-
tanced by groups.
West Coaster Julie Adams
meets New Englander
Michael Costello in this syn-
ergistic guitar and vocal duo.
Costello’s love of roots music
combines with Adams’ strong
draw to driving rhythms.
Based in Oregon and regu-
lars on the North Coast music
scene, they perform and
record together regularly in
a blend of visceral songs and
emotional performances.
Adams & Costello will perform
at the Coaster Theatre Saturday.
Patrons must show proof
that they are fully vaccinated
when they enter the Coaster
Theatre. Those unable to
be vaccinated must provide
proof of a negative COVID-
19 PCR test taken within 72
hours of the performance start
time in addition to a matching
photo ID. Face coverings are
required at all times for every-
one inside the theater regard-
less of vaccination status.
Artist Randall David Tipton will be the
featured at the Stormy Weather Arts
Festival this weekend.
CANNON BEACH — The
Stormy Weather Arts Festival will
be held this weekend in Cannon
Beach.
The festival is returning for its
34th year, and is one of the town’s
biggest events. This year’s featured
festival artist is Randall David Tip-
ton, who had his fi rst solo show at
White Bird Gallery in 1987.
The festival will include a vari-
ety of safe gatherings, artist demon-
strations, painting classes and live
musical performances with regional
musicians at outdoor venues
throughout the town.
The 2021 schedule includes, but
is not limited to:
Paint and Sip Friday and Sat-
urday 6 to 9 p.m. in the Chamber
Community Hall, $40 per person.
Music around town from 11 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Coaster
Theatre courtyard, Kiki’s courtyard,
Sandpiper Square and The Landing.
