A cross stitch project I designed and created
earlier this year.
It’s no secret that the North Coast and
the Long Beach Peninsula are full of tal-
ented artists of all mediums, ranging
from textile arts to poetry. No matter the
medium, each local artist uniquely crafts
their pieces with an art that is true to
themselves and their passions.
Local crafters are no exception,
whether they’ve been crafting for
decades or weeks. While several crafters
are often featured in local galleries or at
local crafting classes, there are plenty of
lesser-known crafters, too.
your piece if it has one.
Readers’ submissions will be featured
in a future edition of Coast Weekend.
If you know of a local artist (or are
one yourself) who hasn’t yet been fea-
tured in a Coast Weekend article and
would like to be, please send a few sen-
tences about the artist, plus contact
information to the email above or the
submission form. Including photos of
the artist’s work is recommended but not
required.
