featured in art show
Members of the North Coast Chorale.
Chorale to celebrate 30th anniversary
North Coast Chorale will perform a vari-
ety of songs for its “Belated 30th Anniver-
sary” celebration June 11 to June 13 at the
Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing
Arts, 588 16th St.
The chorale will perform many songs the
chorale has previously performed. The list
includes a variety of music genres includ-
ing jazz, gospel and sacred pieces. Deac
Guidi and Dinah Urell will perform with
the chorale.
Face masks and social distancing are
required indoors. A maximum of 50 tickets
will be sold for each performance. Tickets
cost $10 each for ages 13 and older. Chil-
dren ages 12 and under get free admission.

ASTORIA — Clatsop Community
College’s annual student art show will
be available to view through June 11 at
the Royal Nebeker Gallery, 1799 Lex-
ington Ave.
The show is an annual juried event
that showcases student work in disci-
plines including graphic arts, design,
drawing, painting, ceramics, photogra-
phy and printmaking. This year’s juror
is Deanna Antony, Astoria Visual Arts’
2020-2021 artist-in-residence.
Award winners include Amalia Sher,
Julia Mabry, Isabel Talley, Benjamin
Thompson, Michelle Coventry, Abby
Albright, Sara Chacon, Sharyn Hed-
bloom, Aria Campbell, P.J. Hollern and
Harry Comins.
The gallery is free to visit and is
open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon-
day through Friday. Guests must wear
face coverings and practice social
distancing.
