The OREGON DUNGENESS CRAB COMMISSION (ODCC) will
hold a Budget Hearing virtual meeting pursuant to ORS 576.416,
on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10:00am upon a proposed bud-
get for operation of the Oregon Dungeness Commission during
FY July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022. A public meeting will begin at
9:00am.
At the meeting, any Oregon Dungeness crab fisherman in Oregon
selling crab through a first purchaser has a right to be heard with
respect to the proposed budget. A copy is available by contact-
ing the Crab Commission office. The 2021/2022 budget is based
on an assessment of 1% of the cash value of the raw product of
Dungeness crab that is landed in Oregon.

Notice of Budget Committee Meetings
Three public meetings of the Budget Committee of the City of
Cannon Beach, Clatsop County, State of Oregon, to discuss the
budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, will be held
in the month of May. In response to the current health emergency
resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the City facilities are cur-
rently closed to the public and meetings are held electronically.
The first meeting will be held May 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The pur-
pose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to re-
ceive comment from the public on the budget. The second meet-
ing is tentatively scheduled on May 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will
take place on an as needed basis. The third meeting is tentatively
scheduled on May 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will take place on an
as needed basis.
You are invited to attend telephonically. The City is now using
Zoom. The phone call is NOT toll free, but there is no long-dis-
tance charge for cell phone or internet connection. There is a Bud-

Variance Request (V21-06) by Bill Hunsinger, for Astoria
School District, to install two signs on the west, front eleva-
tion of the CMH Field structure at 1800 Williamsport Road
(Map 17, Tax Lot 783) in the IN (Institutional) Zone. The signs
would exceed the maximum two signs per frontage for a total
of three signs, and the maximum of 24 square feet total of all
signs to allow an additional 198 square feet plus the existing
160 square feet for a total of 358 square feet. Development
Code Sections 2.835 to 2.860 (IN Zone), Articles 8 (Signs),
9 (Administrative Procedures), 12 (Variances), and Compre-
hensive Plan Sections CP.005 to CP.028 (General Policies),

Management LLC for Bethany Lutheran Church to construct
a 5,030 square foot structure at 420 34th Street (Map T8N

18.75’ Lot 3, Block 18, Adair’s Port of Upper Astoria), as an
accessory multi-use building to the existing adjacent church
