Presenting creations by Deb Stoner,
who is a photographer, researcher and gar-
dener. Stoner’s photographs are detailed
and weave texture and color. Her prints
are inspired by her passions for growing
plants, collecting insects and choreograph-
ing still-life images. Stoner’s work will be
displayed until June 7.
10. Forsythea, 1124 Commercial St.
Featuring paintings by Monica Cam-
eron in the show “Begin Again.” The show
is a compilation of works that “reflect on
earthly renewal and the gentle creatures
that inhabit it.” Cameron will be present
for an artist reception from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
11. RiverSea Gallery, 1160

Showcasing the show “A STORIED
LIFE: NARRATIVE ASSEMBLAGES” by
Portland artist Dan Pillers. The show fea-
tures carefully selected artifacts that were
deconstructed, reimagined, then reassem-
bled. The show “transforms a collection

of mundane objects into a compelling and
meaningful narrative.” Pillers will be at the
gallery from 5 to 8 p.m.
12. Oscar de’ Masi Art Gallery, 1145

Presenting new paintings, prints, art
tiles, mugs and wooden boxes by local art-
ist Oscar de’ Masi; locally-sourced, hand-
crafted furniture by Michael Demasi; and
watercolor paintings by Karl Hauer.
13. Cambium Gallery, 1030 Duane
St.
Featuring the show “Being There,”
by Nick Ciancibelli. The show features a
“visual statement created in the realm of
pure existence.” Each piece is related to the
“simple experience of just being there.”
14. Astoria Visual Arts, 1000 Duane
St.
Showcasing an Earth Day-themed show
with pieces from Clatsop and Pacific coun-
ties. A variety of mediums were selected
for the show. Regional plein air artist Dee
Vadnais juried the exhibit.
15. The Labor Temple, 934 Duane
St.
Presenting urbanscape painter J. Wesley
Willis, whose oil paintings showcase Asto-
ria’s scenery. The show includes several
new pieces.
