April 3 SEASIDE — The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday. 1. SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St. Presenting whimsical local scenes by painter Ronni Harris, upcycle art by Patty Thurlby and credit card mosaics by Mari Cardinal Walker. 2. Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St. Featuring folk art by Mike Proulx, whose art features wooden rustic U.S. flags, inspired by Proulx’s son and daughter-in- law’s service in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Every flag is unique. 3. Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St. Showcasing the gallery’s new exhibit, “NATURE’S GRACE.” The exhibit features glass artist Rosalyn Andronesch, acrylic art- ist Toni Avery, en plein air painters Karen Doyle and Bev Drew Kindley, naturalist Dorota Haber-Lehigh, watercolorist Lieta Gratteri, oil painter Emily Schulz McNiel, botanical artist Mike Mason and emerging artist Vanessa K. Stokes. Tedd Chilless will host a lecture and impasto painting demon- stration throughout the evening. 4. TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St. Featuring artist Edi Olson, of Vancou- ver, Washington. Olson works in all medi- ums but specializes in oil painting. Olson’s pieces showcase seascapes, inspired by liv- ing on Oregon’s coast. 5. The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Drive Presenting a display of locally-made abstract and whimsical art. Patrons can enjoy craft beers, ciders and wines. Edi Olson’s ‘Shear Serenity,’ is shown at TigerLily Gallery. 6. Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 First Ave. Featuring original art and prints from Portland-based artists. Each room of the hotel features unique pieces.
