Alternative-folk duo to perform virtual concert SEAVIEW — The Sou’wester Historic Lodge will host alternative-folk musicians Drew Tucker and Megan Adler for a lives- treamed concert from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Art exhibit open to local youth CANNON BEACH — Local youth can register for an upcoming art exhibit by April 30 at achildsplay.com/create. The exhibit, titled “CREATE!” will feature art made by children, for children. The exhibit will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from May 7 to Clatsop County Mas- ter Gardener Association will host a virtual lecture about humming- birds at 6 p.m. on Wednesday via Zoom (Meeting ID: 893 7893 0224, passcode: 267433). During the lecture local bird enthusiast, volunteer and bird lover Barbara Linnett will present “Introduction to Humming- birds,” which will be an hour-long presenta- tion about hummingbirds. United Way of Clatsop County seeks volunteers United Way of Clatsop County seeks volunteers to clean local parks from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 17 in Astoria, Warrenton and Seaside. The cleanup is for the organiza- tion’s Day of Caring. Participants of all ages and skill levels can par- ticipate by completing landscap- ing tasks at local parks or donat- ing off items for local residents. Participants will receive water and lunch. All participants will be expected to wear masks and fol- low social distancing guidelines.
