ASTORIA — The Second Saturday
Astoria Art Walk will be held from noon to
8 p.m. on Saturday. Attendees are expected
to wear masks and follow social distancing
guidelines.
1. Lower Columbia Q Center, 171 W.
Bond St.
Featuring several new and local artists
within the LGBTQIA+ community.
2. Paul Polson Studio Gallery, 100
10th St.
Showcasing new oil paintings by Paul
Polson. Paintings of local areas created by
Blaine Verley will also be featured.
3. Angi D Wildt Gallery, 106 10th St.
Presenting oil paintings by artist Quata,
whose works depict a vast array of life
experiences “from an ethereal, dreamy
Hawaiian scene to the raw, vulnerable emo-
tions that we feel when processing harsh
realities.” Quata’s work has been shown in
episodes of “Magnum P.I.” and “Hawaii
Five-0.”
4. West Coast Artisans Gallery,
160 10th St.
Featuring new work by Crystal Neher,
Cat Loyd, Oscar Nelson and Mariko Maita.
5. Vintage Hardware, 1162 Marine
Drive
Showcasing local artist Carol Braden,
whose work mixes reclaimed objects and
patterned metals to create nautical-inspired
wall art. Braden will be at Vintage Hard-
ware during the art walk.
6. Astoria Institute of Music and
Center for the Arts, 1159 Marine
Drive
Presenting mixed media work by Wenda
Vorce, who makes upcycled art; collage art
by Sid Deluca; atmospheric acrylic paint-
ings by Kelley Stargazer; paintings by
Lisa Ackerman; and pottery by TKO. Live
music will be performed. Call 503-395-
1221 for an appointment outside of art walk
hours or to participate in projects.
