Tempo Gallery to leave downtown, go virtual
BY MORGAN GRINDY
When asked to add some color to
the walls of the long, narrow space
that hosts the Astoria Music Festival,
volunteers put their art up and named
it Tempo Gallery. The gallery dis-
plays the work of six local artists in
Astoria.
In August, after about eight years
in its downtown home, Tempo Gal-
lery will reopen as an online gallery.
The artists will celebrate the gal-
lery’s history during the Astoria Art
Walk on Saturday.
