Award-winning blues guitarist to perform
LONG BEACH — The Peninsula Arts Center will
present Terry Robb on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Robb is an acoustic blues guitarist. He is a member
of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame and the Cascade
Blues Association Hall of Fame.
During his career, Robb has received praise from
Rolling Stone; O, The Oprah Magazine; and several
music journals. In 2017, he was awarded the Cas-
cade Blues Association’s “Lifetime Achievement
Muddy Award” after winning the association’s annual
“Muddy Award” 19 years
in a row.
Admission is $20.

‘Decades of Love Songs’
ASTORIA — The Clatsop Community College Per-
forming Arts Center will present an evening of love songs,
starting at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The performance, dubbed “Decades of Love Songs,”
will feature vocalist Kelley Shannon and pianist George
Colligan. Jazz songs will be performed.
Admission is $10. The concert will be held at the cen-
ter, 588 16th St. The fi rst 25 female attendees will receive
a rose.
LGBTQ center celebrates new building
Terry Robb will perform at the Peninsula Arts Center on Saturday at 7 p.m.
ASTORIA — The Lower Columbia Q Center will host a
dance party Saturday night.
The party will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight at KALA, 1017
Marine Drive. The night will be a celebration for the center’s new build-
ing, which is scheduled to open Friday, Feb. 21 at 171 Bond St. in Astoria.
The evening will include an evening of disco music, compli-
mentary treats and a raffl e drawing.
Attendance is $10 per person. Ages 21+ are welcome. Pro-
ceeds will go to the center.
