    Winter takes over
Astoria’s underground
ASTORIA – The Astoria Underground
presents “Wonderland Through the Ward-
robe,” an immersive display and interac-
tive theatre project at the Hidden Under-
ground Experience on 10th and Marine
streets.
The interactive show runs from noon
to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The experience will
continue on Dec. 14 and Dec. 21. Tickets
are $5 for one hour of interactive adven-
ture. Proof of ticket purchase can be used
as a $5 coupon in any of the shops below.
Tickets can be purchased at Kit’s Apoth-
ecary, Weird Sisters Freak Boutique, Flo-
ral Haze Vintage or West Coast Artisans
Gallery.
The event will feature special guest star
Ginger Vitus as the White Queen.
Audiences can wander through a ward-
robe, looking-glass or tree hollow to
explore a winter wonderland adventure this
holiday season.
‘Feed the seals, Feed the community’ kicks off today.
Feed the seals and the community
SEASIDE – Seaside Aquarium kicks
off the holiday season with the “Feed the
Seals, Feed the Community” annual food
drive.
Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day,
patrons can pay admission with two cans
of food per person at the aquarium, 200 N.
Prom.
Food items are collected at the Aquar-
ium then sorted, checked and stocked on
the shelves of the Seaside based food bank
for clients in Southern Clatsop County.

has worked with the South County Com-
munity Food Bank to provide nutritious
food to families throughout Seaside, Gear-
hart and Cannon Beach that face food
insecurity.
Volunteers are welcome at the local
food bank on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 1 to 4 p.m., 2041 North Roosevelt
Drive on the east side of Highway 101
across from the Seaside High School.
Aquarium hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
