    Calling all holiday crafters
SKAMOKAWA, Wash. – Friends
of Skamokawa seek vendors and craft-
ers to participate in the annual holi-
day open house, “Deck the Hall,” which
will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 15 at
Skamokawa’s River Life Interpretive Cen-
ter, Central School and Redmen Hall, 1394
WA-4
Are you looking to sell your unique art
or craft? Whether you are new to selling or
have many years of experience, we would
love to have you at this fun community
event. We offer a warm and friendly holi-
day shopping environment for everyone to
enjoy. Vendors do not need to be present
during the three-week event. Items will be
displayed on consignment.
Vendor items are due no later than
4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25.

Nehalem Bay Garden Club accepting
proposals for the 2019 gift program
NEHALEM – The Nehalem Bay
Garden Club will award funding to
local garden projects at the end of the
year. The club is now accepting propos-
als for its 2019 gift program through
Dec. 1.
Proposals should be submitted to PO
Box 261, Wheeler, or emailed to ben-
sonsbend@gmail.com.
Strong proposals will be one page or
shorter and align with the club’s mis-
sion to cultivate the knowledge and
love of gardening through educational
programs and activities, to aid in the

protection of the environment, native
plants and wildlife and to support pub-
lic service through garden-related orga-
nizations and volunteer opportunities.
Proposals should include amount
needed, specifi c use and benefi t to the
organization or public. North county
projects will receive highest priority.
Gifts are usually $500 or less, but larger
gifts can be considered if suffi cient
funds are available.
