Job Corps is a unique national training and employment
program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor
and delivered through residential settings to economically
disadvantaged youth ages 16-to-24-years old. Enrollment is
voluntary and free; programs are open-entry, open-exit, and
self-paced. Young people can learn a career, earn national
certifications, earn a high school diploma or GED, and develop
life skills to help find and keep a good job. Job Corps provides
training in the all-around skills needed to
succeed in a career and in life.
