Sealed bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 am on Tues-
day, September 3, 2019, by Dale McDowell, Public Works Director,
at Seaside City Hall, 989 Broadway, Seaside, Oregon, for the
following work.
GRAZING LEASE – SEASIDE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
The City of Seaside is the owner of the Seaside Municipal Airport
and owns a parcel of land for open space at the north end of the
airport that is north of Oster Road. The parcel is known as tax lot
061010AC 00201 and is approximately 5.7 acres. The general
terms of the lease are that grazing livestock is the only permitted
use of this property, the grass and weeds on the property must be
maintained to a maximum height of 24 inches, and the fencing on
the property must be maintained in good condition. The term of
the lease is for three (3) years beginning September 1, 2019. For
more details on the terms of the lease, a copy of the lease may be
obtained from Seaside City Hall, 989 Broadway, Seaside, or on
our website at www.cityofseaside.us.
Written, sealed bids will be received by the Public Works De-
partment at City of Seaside, 989 Broadway, Seaside, Oregon
97138, until 2:00 PM, September 3, 2019, at which time they
will publicly opened. Bids will be clearing marked on the en-
velope “Grazing Lease” and also show the date and time of
bid opening. The bid document should clearly state the lease
payment being offered and due annually on September 1.
No faxed bids will be accepted. Bids must be in a sealed envelope.
The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed
public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for
good cause any or all bids upon finding of the City that it is in the
public interest to do so.
