Bridgeview Court Utility Repair Project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The intent of this contract is to repair existing utilities that were impacted by the 2005 Bridgeview Court
Landslide and construct drainage improvements for collection and conveyance of surface and
groundwater to the stormwater system. The following is a summary of the major elements of Work that
are to be provided by the Contractor.

A project site tour will follow the pre-bid meeting.
Any bids received after the above specified time will not be considered. The carrier, including the
United States Postal Service, is considered an agent of the bidder.
Solicitation Documents may be reviewed and/or obtained from the City Engineer’s Office,
Astoria City Hall, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria, Oregon, 503-338-5173. A non-refundable fee of
$50.00 will be charged for a paper copy of these documents.

Bids will be publicly opened and read by the Public Works Director at 2:00 PM, local time on August 1,

If the total bid exceeds $50,000.00 the contract will be subject to Prevailing Wage Statute ORS
279C.800 to 279C.870. The contract is NOT subject to federal prevailing wage rates under the
Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq).

The Cannon Beach City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
at Cannon

ZO 19-01, the City of Cannon Beach request for Zoning Ordinance text amendment; revision
of Municipal Code Chapter 17.77, Short-Term Rentals. The proposed amendments address
short-term rental permit administration, enforcement and standards. The request will be
reviewed against the criteria of the Municipal Code, Section 17.86.070.A, Amendments
Criteria.

The Port of Astoria is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the MAIN APRON IMPROVE-
MENTS – PHASE 1 project at the Port of Astoria Regional Airport. Major elements of work for the
project include, but are not limited to pavement removal, pavement section construction, and drainage
improvements.
Engineer’s Cost Opinion is between $450,000 and $550,000.
Sealed Bids shall be addressed to and received at Port of Astoria Offices, 10 Pier One, Suite 308, As-
toria, Oregon 97103 not later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on the 1st day of August 2019. Immediately
thereafter, the Bids will be publicly opened and read at the above-stated location. Bids submitted
after the above-specified time shall not be received or opened.
