Clamshell Railroad Days in Ilwaco
ILWACO – Clamshell
Railroad Days, a week-
end-long celebration of
locomotives, is happening
Saturday and Sunday, July
13 and 14, at the Columbia
Pacifi c Heritage Museum.
Admission is $5 and
includes two-day access
and a souvenir pin. Chil-
dren 12 years and under
enter free.
The event kicks off
at 10 a.m. Saturday with
model train layouts hosted
by the Peninsula Model
Railroad Club. The Mt.
Rainer N-scale club, the
Pacifi c Northwest On30
Club and Dean and Donna
Mead’s fantastic Lego
train will also be there.

Knappton Cove Heritage Center
NASELLE – A Lewis
and Clark living history
interactive program is hap-
pening 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 13, and from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday,
July 14, at the Knappton
Cove Heritage Center. The
program is free and dona-
tions are welcome.
The museum inside the
historic U.S. Quarantine
Station building will be
open from 12- 4 p.m. both
days.
