General Conditions: During the summer months the city use the
pumps @ Peterson Pump Station to fill the Water Treatment Raw
Water Reservoir. ODFW has installed a fish screen protected in-
take. This Fish Screen is installed in June and removed in Septem-
ber. A cover plate is installed during the rest of the year.
Cover Plate: 400 pounds
Fish Screen: 1000 Pounds**
**Note: Unknown Weight - estimate only - Contractor to verify
Work Required:
1. June - Fish Screen Installation:
a. Remove Flat Plate cover
b. In water work:
i. Remove sedimentation, rocks, and any debris in con-
crete vault
ii. This will require underwater work and in river currents.
c. Install Fish Screen
i. Requires in water river work to set plate in steel tracks
2. September or October: Remove Fish Screen and replace with
Flat Plate Cover
3. Crane - will be required for each operation
4. All Contractors are required to bonded and insured with a cur-
rent CCB.
