Spring Break Camp will meet
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March
25, through Friday, March 29.
The theme will be “Beauty and
the Beast.” Campers will explore
the characters and plot lines from
several different “Beauty and the
Beast” stories, then create their
own original mini-musical.
Registration is now open for
the Spring Break Camp. Registra-

ertheatre.com.

Coaster Theatre Kidz Camps grants cover tuition
CANNON BEACH — The
Coaster Theatre Playhouse has
received the City of Cannon
Beach’s Community Services
Grant and the US Bank’s Com-
munity Grant to assist in tuition
for its children’s art camps.
Each camp focuses on three
common aspects of theater arts:
acting, singing and dancing. In
addition to improving confi-
dence and creativity, campers are
exposed to teamwork, respect and
unlimited imagination while cre-
ating a show and characters of
their own.

Audition for Peninsula
Players’ ‘Mary Poppins’
CHINOOK, Wash. — Auditions for
“Mary Poppins,” the summer musical
production of the Peninsula Association
of Performing Artists, will take place 1
to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March
16 and March 17, and 6 to 8 p.m. Mon-
day, March 18, at the Fort Columbia
Theater in Chinook, Wash.
A Discover Pass is not needed to gain
access to the theater during these times.
Directed by Alicia Trusty, the play
calls for multiple performers of all ages.
It will open June 28 and run for five
weekends.
