Square Dance Club.

3 p.m. every Sunday,
beginning March 10
with Mark Wheeler, the
caller and instructor.
The fi rst three lessons
are free, then $2 per
lesson thereafter.

ASTORIA — The
Lower Columbia Clas-
sic Car Club’s 27th Annual
Astoria Swap Meet — tak-
ing place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 9, at Clat-
sop County Fairgrounds
— draws enthusiasts look-
ing for an opportunity to
buy and sell cars, parts,
automotive-related items,
as well as antiques and
collectables.
The exhibit hall will
be fi lled with a wide vari-
ety of parts for all makes
and models of vehicles,
from the 1920s to 1970s, as
well as miscellaneous and
collectable items. In the
indoor arena you will fi nd
everything from engines
to hoods, fenders, wheels

and tires, and an indoor car
corral.
Proceeds from club
booth sales support the
automotive education pro-
grams in the local area.
Admission is $3 for
adults; children under
12 are free. For informa-

ASTORIA — Due to
unforeseen circumstances,
the BodyVox performance
set for Saturday, March 9, at
the Liberty Theatre has been
rescheduled to October. All
ticket purchases have been
refunded.
New BodyVox perfor-
mance dates will be posted
to the Liberty website and
social media as soon as they
are booked. For the full cal-

WINGS conference rescheduled
ASTORIA — The
WINGS Conference was
snowed out in February
but is ready to take fl ight
8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Satur-
day, March 9.
WINGS is a free con-
ference designed to help
women explore educa-
tional and career opportuni-
ties. It is sponsored by Clat-
sop Community College
and the Astoria and Seaside
branches of AAUW.
The event will be held in
Columbia Hall at Clatsop
Community College. Free
childcare and lunch will be
offered.

The AAUW (American
Association of University
Women) Seaside Scholar-
ship Foundation announces
the Friday, April 5, dead-
line for applying for a
$2,000 scholarship.
This scholarship is
awarded annually to a
female resident from
Northwestern Oregon or
Southwestern Washington
who is enrolled, or plan-
ning to enroll, in a degree
program.
The candidate must have
been out of high school fi ve
or more years. The award
may be used at the college
or university of the candi-
date’s choice for tuition,
fees and textbooks only.

individuals and organiza-
