Writer’s Guild introduces writing labs and lounges ASTORIA — The Writ- er’s Guild is announcing a new format for its monthly events. The Guild still meets at WineKraft on the third Tuesday of the month but will rotate among open mics, their traditional for- mat; writing labs, a chance to bring works in progress for feedback; and Open Writing Lounge, a quiet space to work on your own projects with support from other writers. In addition, the Guild’s spring workshops are now open for registration. These include: • Saturday, April 6: Romance Writing Work- shop with Julie Cameron: Take a look at the romance industry, and how it weaves through all genres, before diving under the covers for some practice.
