NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clatsop County Planning
Commission will conduct a public hearing starting shortly after
10:00 AM on Tuesday February 12, 2019, at the Guy Boyington
Building, 857 Commercial Street, Astoria, OR, to consider the fol-
lowing:
Case 20180665: Knife River Corp. NW: Quasi-judicial public hear-
ing to consider approval of a request to expand quarry operations
into a 225-foot strip of land along the eastern boundary of the ex-
isting quarry site to implement a reclamation plan. The subject
property contains approximately 20 acres zoned Forest-80 (F-80),
and is located adjacent to 85015-85029 Hwy 101, south of Sea-
side.
All documents are available for inspection at the Clatsop County
Planning Division at 800 Exchange St, Suite 100, during normal
business hours (M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.) at no cost. Paper copies
may also be obtained at reasonable cost. The final staff report
will be available for inspection at the Planning Division at no cost
at least seven days prior to the hearing. Paper copies of the staff
report may also be obtained at a reasonable cost. The staff re-
port will also be posted at least seven days prior to the hearing on
the Planning Division’s Pending Land Use Applications website:
