    After the ceremony, the
celebration was moved to the
Rockaway Beach City Hall and a
Spotify playlist filled with Phil and
Brenna’s favorite songs provided
the perfect soundtrack for the
equally intimate reception that
followed. The highlight was a
delicious meal catered by Dough
Dough Bakery, which met the
couple’s criteria of serving primarily
locally sourced, organic, fresh food.
Event consultant Doug Niblack
worked with them to incorporate a
number of unique features into both
the meal and the service. Tables
were decorated with brightly
colored fresh citrus and ground
cherries. Dishes featured plenty of
foraged and local products. The
reception also featured a special
ceremony with Jun tea, a honey-
fermented beverage, made with a
special 800-year-old scoby, which
was “really unique,” Brenna said.
Following their wedding,
Brenna and Phil took off at 1 a.m.
to drive to Portland and catch a
flight to Costa Rica for their
honeymoon.
“The
location
was
magical,
all of our
guests were
blown away
by the
natural
beauty.“
