    The ceremony was held in
a circle with the bride and
groom surrounded by the
loving energy of family,
friends and community. “After
Horus and I entered the
ceremony space we had two
friends open with a song that
helped everyone get into their
heart space,” said Dana. A
simple djembe drum resonated
with an unadorned intention:
“we open our hearts, to
witness your hearts, we open
our hearts in love.” A golden
moment for Dana was the
memory of feeling “the deep
love that resonated from
Horus as he read his vows.”
When the couple looks
back on their weekend in
Cannon Beach, the most
fitting metaphor is a river of
love: “there was such a feeling
of love and joy over the course
of the weekend that it felt like
we were simply being carried
by it – by love.”
