2 // COASTWEEKEND.COM Filmmaker series looks at Seattle trolleybus, seaplanes SEASIDE — The Friends of the Seaside Library host local film- maker Ron Walker as he presents his two-film series “Seattle by Trolley- bus” and “Christian and His Seaplanes.” The event takes place 1 p.m., Satur- day, Jan. 26, in the Seaside Public Library’s Commu- nity Room. Walker has a deep interest in electric pub- lic transportation, and in “Seattle by Trolleybus” he focuses on this zero-pol- luting technology. Walker interviews bus drivers as well as many of the people that are involved with run- ning and maintaining the electric buses in the Emer- ald City. Everyone he came in contact with loves the clean, quiet, operation of the system, which uses no fossil fuels.
