VISITORS CENTER
On Nov. 23, merchants in
Manzanita, Nehalem and
Wheeler put on ‘Plaid Fri-
day,’ a nicer, more local
version of Black Friday.
‘Plaid Friday’
a saner, less
corporate
version of
Black Friday
Join merchants from
Manzanita, Nehalem
and Wheeler for “Plaid
Friday” all day long Nov.
23.
The name came from
the idea of weaving the
individual threads of
small businesses to-
gether to create a strong
fabric that celebrates the
diversity and creativity of
independent businesses.
Plaid Friday is a
relaxing and enjoyable
alternative to Black
Friday, and is designed to
promote both local and
independently owned
businesses during the
holidays.
Look for the Plaid Fri-
day poster in merchants’
windows and have a fun
day of holiday shopping.
Keep exploremanzani-
ta.com for specific deals
as they are announced.
