The mission statement for Clatsop Community College reads: Enriching Lives, Inspiring Learning, Creating Opportunities. The
purpose of the CCC Foundation is to support CCC’s mission and focus fundraising efforts to increase the availability of scholarships
and much-needed program support and equipment.
Without a doubt, CCC changes lives on a daily basis. Your gift to the Foundation makes a difference in the lives of those who
look to Clatsop Community College for high-quality education as their path to a bright future.
Many of our students face multiple obstacles and financial barriers in the path to their educational goals. They struggle to pay
tuition and fees, buy books and pay their living expenses while juggling family, work and classes. Financial assistance through
Foundation scholarships can be their only opportunity to reach their full potential and shape their futures.

The Clatsop Community College
Foundation was established in 1960 as a
501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. It is
governed by a dedicated volunteer board
of directors.
GIFT DESIGNATION EXAMPLES:
• Establish a named annual or endowed scholarship
• Fund For Excellence (college’s greatest need)
• Foundation’s General Scholarship Fund
• Specific named scholarship or program
• $4,122 will pay tuition and fees for one student for one year
• $1,374 will pay tuition and fees for one student for one term
• $511 will pay for books and supplies for one student for one term
• $102 will pay for one credit hour
